But I am unsure if would actually be any good or just end up being convoluted and clunky Playtest. I’m making a Thaumaturge from the playtest, and need a bit of clarification with the Amulet. It gives you a reaction that gives you or an ally within 15 feet a Resistance “against all damage from the triggering attack”. The adept feature says to ‘pick one damage type resisted and gain a lingering resistance against that type.

The thaumaturge has been out for some time, and I think the more common combinations of implement that I have seen are: Wand/tome for the "false mage" Mirror/weapon to be an "echo knight" Chalice/talisman as the "discount paladin" (Not counting the third implement since it won't appear until very late in the game) ...

The Thaumaturge version of the feat helps a lot with the action economy in combat but obviously will still have lower DC's in general. Barbarian dedication (which I dont reccomend with thaumaturge) gives a flat +2 when raging Fighters and rangers can use united assualt to get a +4 circumstance bonus if everyone attacks the same target. 42 + 4d8 (18 dmg avg) So an average strike from a level 20 thaumaturge would deal 60 damage, unless I have missed something.
