I have heard a lot of contradictory opinions , that ow is good for carving (it’s really not the same as snowboarding I was onewheeling for years and when it came to snow I was pretty much a complete beginner), so I’m wondering if summerboard is something that can really prepare you better for the winter slopes.

I own a summerboard and adore the thing. I primarily ski in winter and longboard in summer. I bought a summerboard because I wanted something that felt more like snow. It functions as advertised and nothing else feels the same. I used it all last summer and decided to try snowboarding over the winter, the skills transitioned beautifully.
