after doing some more research on the zastava m76, i found out there where a few .308 m76 rifles imported at one time. also the m76 has been chambered in 3 main rnds from the factory. 8mm mauser, 7.62x51 (or .308 winchester it could handle both) and 7.62x54r. so a siaga .308 converted to an m76 lookalike isnt that far off from an original. it should be a fun ride.Posted May 6, 2011. This is a surplus Romanian rpk lower handguard (HG) I used a dremel tool with a sanding drum to enlarge the opening at the receiver end. I tapered the opening to about 3/4 of the way down the HG towards the muzzle end of the HG. Here is a table of the before and after measurements of the wood HG compared to the poly HG.

Up for sale is a custom set of Saiga 12 wood furniture. This is a Izmash factory 308 wood stock set that has been modified to fit a Saiga 12 shotgun. All pieces are made from hardwood with a great color and shine to it, in perfect condition. Accuracy is just the same. A Saiga is NOT built to the same precision or standards. A Saiga .308 is going to have about 200 yards effective accuracy.
