Maybe cut 1 of them hard plastic fake license plate things that has dealer logo on it and use some RTV to "glue" a panel over grille of VESS to stymie the sound output. Pop up and pull out the insert clips around the top the bumper. There are 4 of them. 2. Pull the bumper section forward. Look into the bumper and you should see the VESS unit right there, front and center. In my instance it has the green sticker. 3. Reach down into the area and unplug speaker.
