How to get exotics from lost sectors.
I was going for the Necrotic Grip last night doing the Legend Lost Sector. My engram inventory was full. I got three different exotic engrams that went to the postmaster but when I decrypted them they were boots instead of arms. The Master Lost Sector yesterday was dropping boots which is why I got three engrams that became boots.
There are 12 exotic gauntlets for hunters, so I have 1/12 chance to get one. However, the exotic drop rate from legend lost sectors is known to be around 25% (master only giving like 30-40 ish). Sometimes, it can take dozens of legend lost sector clears in order to get one drop (even 25% is not enough to give you one guaranteed after 4 clears).Jul 5, 2023 ... JavTheNoob. • 3 yr. ago. No there's no limit afaik... I've had days where I've farmed for 2 hours and gotten 3 exotics and others where I've had 14. It's just RNG. The platinum thing is when you've killed all the champions. You should be aiming to get platinum everytime since it has the best rewards and more likely to get the exotic.
