I have done 6 mapping runs, 18+ hours of mapping, rebooted the i3, re-installed the app on my phone, tried using the app on my ipad, and nothing. I do the mapping run, and no Smart Map is generated. Unfortunately, too much stuff can't selectively be deleted from the smart map. You have no choice but to delete and create map from scratch again. The update map (on latest firmware) will expand a room if you move furniture away after the initial smart map though. The trail was probably invented by a kid or a pet.
