That is even though it got to Tier 3 when I did 2 challenges, but when equipping a certain mission, at the beginning of the mission nothing happens, but after about 5 minutes it returns to its original shape (Tier 1) as before the 2 challenges.

If you stop killing Enemies, the Ephemera will go back down to the Tier 1 look. I am currently trying to see if the other Protovyre items have some sort of in mission evolution ... I've had the issue with the Protovyre Emergent Armor set staying at 375/375 sentients and not unlocking the upgraded Protovyre Apex Armor set.
