There is a rat-a-tat sound. I have a 2014 Chevy Impala. There is a rat-a-tat sound coming from the console that controls the heating and a/c. It usually starts when I unlock the doors. The sound lasts about 2 minutes and goes off. The sound may occur when I lock the car or open the trunk. The car can be shut off for a time and the sound will start.
