Aug 13, 2022 · Dec 2015 Dodge Durango SXT, 60K miles. The Car runs normally most of the time. But sometime it Cranks but does not turnover and start completely. Does not appear to be Alternator Problem, Starter Problem or Battery Problem (just 1 year old). Wait for 4-5 hours or a day and the vehicle starts again and runs around the town without any problem.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!! Master tech MARK HARRIS at Wheaton Dodge in Wheaton, Maryland found what amounted to ' a needle in a haystack ' bad wire in a maze of wiring that is connected to the computer ignition plugs on the firewall. Luckily the ignition finally failed while in the bay after many attempts. (leaving the house this morning was no problem)10. Sagging Headliner. A few seconds pass and multiple warnings start and a message displays saying vehicle is shutting down, pull over and stop. Once stopped the Durango basically goes none responsive and finally dies and looses all aux power. Dealer replaced Aux Battery & alternator. Dec-2020, Same as above.
The HVAC up front just randomly started to go from whatever speed setting it is on to where there is almost no air coming out and then back to what the setting shows, it will repeat this on and on. the back blows as it should. I have replaced the resistor module and swapped the front and back HVAC relays and checked the fuses.

Repop pumps, like sensors and thermostats, aren't very good. Try priming it by pressing the start button with no brake for a few seconds. Then if it starts with the brake / Start button then it's the fuel pump not holding it's pressure.
