They have good quality parts, but the kit needs work, and you must have tools. Mine is iron mounted, single trigger, straight barrel, and I browned everything. With no powder in the gun Trigger the action while observing for sparks. Assuming the flint is being held tightly so it doesn't move when it strikes the frizzen.
