The thing is, the V3X/Phase 4 and Ventum Pro/VTM are still better than those bows even after their big changes. You can't give a company a pat on the back for making big changes when they're still behind competitors. Mathews, Hoyt, and Bowtech are just above the others.

The 80% mods will be "jumpier" due to a narrower valley. If your draw length is spot on this will be less noticeable. I switched from 85% to 80 because the western state I hunt each year is 80% max lefoff. I did have an acclimation period with the lower letoff but the change only affected how the bow felt to me.

The phase 4 and the Cp30 are basically the same speed, true 30 inch draw length and 70 lbs. With the Cp30 having a 1 inch longer brace height.
