Nov 17, 2022 · Over the past week dolphin fishing has been pretty solid. The best dolphin reports seem to be coming in roughly 600-800' of water. Depth has varied depending on water conditions. Trolling small ballyhoo, bonita strips, or squid remains the best bet on the dolphin. Inside of 300' the sailfish have started to bite a little better. Juno Bait's "Easter Weekend Fishing Outlook". OFFSHORE- Nice mixed bag of action continued offshore this week. Sailfish action remains good, with just about everybody putting the kites up getting at least a few chances up and down the line. Good dolphin action (mostly slightly smaller fish) in 400-700' of water trolling bonita strips and … Bluefish action remains good; with an assortment of lures and cut baits working for them. Spanish Mackerel are also around and biting white crappie jigs well. Pompano action also continues to improve, with bright colored Doc's Goofy Jigs being the lure of choice. The Juno Beach Pier also had a few snapper this week, along with a couple of redfish. Plenty of jacks mixed in with the bluefish as well. Pompano action has been good this week, with good numbers of good size fish around. On the beach it will be sand fleas and FishBites for the pomps. From the beach it's the usual baits (Sandfleas, clams, fresh shrimp, and FishBites) producing the most bites.
