Don't know how to charge them or even turn them on to try and pair them. Maybe just try to pair them manually with the setting apps on your phone after taking out of the case. I use android where you just do settings/bluetooth. You should see something about brookstone where you could pair. Obviously, if they don't charge they could be defective.
