Hey guys, lurked for a while, and now I have a problem. Hoping somebody here can help. I've got a Harman, P38 with just the two knobs to control the fan and feed rate, 1-6. It's bout 6 years old or so, lightly used. It's our secondary/emergency heat source. Might burn a ton year. Seems to run good but flame is just big when it’s heating up. When the feed rate is set too high it will push more pellets into the burn pot. Unburned or partially burned pellets will land in the ash pan. It's better to run it at a lower feed rate and keep the pellets burning hotter in the back of the burn pot.

Check the control board status light. Check the air chamber below the burnpot for debris and clear the debris, as needed. Ensure that the fuel feed rate is properly adjusted.
