When you purchase a movie, you can watch it anytime you want on any of your STBs. You can double check in the video settings that the box is set to 2160p, but other than that the movies should be playing in "4K". I've never seen any of the 4K on demand movies in person so I can't comment on how good/bad they look. I saw it in channel 1498.
