Blinking orange light on dell computer.

When i wake up however, i see the status indicator light flashing constant orange when the power metre on the computer says full charge 100% (mind you this happens when running on AC power). When it charges up from 0%, it charges as normal, but once it hits 100% on AC Power after charging, it resumes the constant blinking orange.When i connect the power source, the power LED has no response. When i press the power button, the power led is amber in colour and remain as long as i press on it. when i release the button the amber is gone.
