Actiontiles weather not working.
A video cam feed, the weather or a map showing traffic in your area are three things that come to mind. So while you’ll have to decide if ShartTools or ActionTiles is a better fit, I think you’ll certainly find that either provides a much more robust environment that running the ST app on a tablet, particularly one that is wall mounted.
While it appears the media tile itself is updating properly, the expanded image is not. I had to zoom the browser window to be able to see the time stamp/lapse in the media tile to compare to the expanded image. Actiontiles never touches a camera and the same media entries work both at home and away from home. However, this is a much more complicated and technically challenging way to do it. Having a single external IP address at home and private addresses internally is not straightforward, but this is standard practice and completely workable.I have Actiontiles working great with the Nest Hello doorbell video streaming in an action tile. Works on desktops and most tablets, but it is a blank tile on all Fire Tablets. There is a built-in weather component in Hubitat, Open Weather if you get an API key is pretty easy to add. You just add a Virtual Device, Weather, then paste an API key and check your location. It is fairly basic but it works good.
Open an INCOGNITO tab or window on your PC. If you are asked to login when you go to the camera URL then you have not successfully disabled authentication. ActionTiles cannot be used with authentication unless you login in a separate Tab. Fully disables tabs and pop-ups by default.
This depends on the browser you are using. Chrome and fully do not allow them to passed so simply enter the URL as shown below and then you should be prompted for the user name and password.
