KHSC is a partner institution of The Community Solution, a nonprofit system of colleges advancing student success and community impact. Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM) has been granted pre-accreditation status from the American Osteopathic Association's Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA).T he SGA serves as the primary liaison between the student body and administration at KansasCOM, with representative and officer positions available for each KansasCOM class. A team of KansasCOM students observed this reality during an October visit to the Wichita Juvenile Detention Center where they met with incarcerated youth. For Prarthna Shah, Abby Werhan, Marcela Trevino, Ritu Patel, Symone Brown, and Manahil Khan, the event was eye opening. "These kids are just like other kids in our community," Shah says.
