Typically the procedure for adding a new fob to a Subaru was that ALL fobs had to be present at the same time. You enter programming mode and pair each unit you wanted to the BIU in one run. Jun 22, 2019 · With the engine running and doors closed, simply lock all the doors with the button on the armrest, then manually unlock the drivers door to exit the vehicle. Before closing the door, manually flip it back to locked and you've now locked yourself out of a running car. Hopefully that key still works. J. jhrober.
