They probably weren’t “inconclusive”, the specimen probably expired because they didn’t get sent out on time or the lab didn’t get to them fast enough. Or you maybe didn’t produce enough saliva or something. THC isn't an immediate disqualifier anymore. That said... Just don't smoke the night before.
