Ithaca M37 Slan Fire Questions. I have 3 Model 37s. A 12, 16, and 20 gauge. The 16 was made in 1965 and the 12 1974, and the 20 1975. All 3 have the slam fire feature. I also have a Remington Model 17, which we know to be the precursor of the Model 37. The one I have was made in 1928.
