Bg3 bladelock.

Guides. Changelog for the build. This character will make an excellent face, a very good controller, a good scout and a surprisingly good damage dealer. It however requires a very good understanding of all spell mechanics and is probably not a good choice if you're new to the genre. Lore bardlocks are insane with action economy, you'll use ...

Bg3 bladelock. Things To Know About Bg3 bladelock.

Otherwise I just want a bloody bladelock because they sound very fun to play. Well, we're 100% getting Pact of the Blade, it's a PHB pact boon. Problem is, it's a half-measure, that's the design gap that Hexblade filled. Attempting to be a non-hexblade Bladelock is frustrating and requires a lot of hoop-jumping just to achieve baseline ...A community all about Baldur's Gate III, the role-playing video game by Larian Studios. Warlock can realistically pair with any of the martials for third attack, though. 5/5/2 gloom/lock/fighter, 5/7 lock/battlemaster, 5/7 lock/tiger barbarian, etc are all solid in tactician bc of third attack. Going 6/6 warlock/sorc for quickened haste or spells is also a good martial class imo.

And of course, a shield. Together with his upgraded dex bonus, this combo should give him an AC 19, which is really the best you can ask for in Early Access. At the same time, Wyll doesn't really have any melee attack options that are as potentially strong as his Eldritch Blasts and other ranged spells, so mostly I use him as armored artillery.Going Fighter 1 for proficiency and then 5 level into warlock for pact of the blade + extra attack+Devil's sight+darkness, is a good starting point. From there you can go into fighter until level 3 and add more warlock. There's an argument at this point for respeccing your stats, since you'll be able to use CHA instead STR for attacking. My Warlock (Archfey Bladelock) off-hands the Absolute's Warboard for the saving throw bonuses. It's alot easier to go into dueling for most gish builds like Bladelock or EK. Definitely not true for bladelock. Hex applies to all attacks. Dual wielding adds an extra attack so it's a pretty significant increase. You are entitled to your opinion, but most of the time dual-weilding or two handed weapons, on average, deal more damage.

The Bladelock I think wants to be Gith. Medium armor is highly relevant, and the mobility spells are the best thing for melee combatants. The Eldritch Blaster I would expect to wear robes and dual wield staves. As such, neither armor nor shield proficiency is of much value to me.Baldur's Gate 3 Pact of the Blade. “Warlocks must choose a pact. Warlock Build Help. Currently playing Bladelock Drow with the Phalar Aluve. Hit Level 5 with 16 dex and 16 chr, but i’m considering respeccing for 14 dex and 18 chr and taking a level in fighter for medium armor. Is a level in fighter worth it for the medium armor and health, or is pure lock better for late game spell slots, ASI, and lifedrinker? 5. [deleted] • 10 mo. ago. Warlock doesn’t get heavy armor or great sword proficiency. You can take pact of the blade to use a great sword but then you can’t take pact of the chain which would get you the find familiar spell. Eldritch knight is the better of the two options for what you want. Personally, I’d suggest a ranger. Bladelock comps for its lack of armor, through Darkness+Devil's Sight. Warlock is one of the most unique classes in BG3. Most spellcasting classes have an array of spell slots of various levels that recharge on a long rest. Depends on what you want to do. I think that a paladin/warlock 7/5 is what I would consider a top-tier build alongside sword bard multiclass, str monk tavern brawler, and eb damage rider spam builds. All of those builds exploit bg3 specific quirks and/or itemization to dramatically increase their effectiveness beyond the curve, so to speak.Paladin 1 is a bit different from table top in BG3.
