Dec 31, 2023 · 2021 GMC 3500 SLE 27k miles. Not sure I should feel happy it was under warranty but originally took the truck into GMC dealer for what sounded like a boost leak. No codes, no other symptoms other than using 7 gallons of DEF in 2800 miles. Which seems excessive for not towing. Hold the brake add trottle and can hear loud hiss.

I would never consider a LML after owning a L5P. $1500 to delete a Cummins or LML. $7,000 to delete an L5P. $3,000 to convert from a CP4 to CP3 on the LML. $700+ to level the GMC/Chevy compared to $100 to level the Ram. I just got the 2022 Duramax 6.6 diesel and drove 500 miles with her, its a monster all right but drives like a dream. 2022 2500HD Denali, iDash, PedalMonster, Banks Diff Cover, Banks CAI, Xpel/Ceramic. edktm and Elchilero53.I assume dp is differential pressure sensor. Unsure if programming is needed for that. 2019 3500HD, Cclb, Drw, Deleted and Tuned, Wehrli turbo horn, intake, boost tubes, Banks idash, S&B map spacer, VSE fuel filtration, 5 inch exhaust. The NOX sensor require a relearn/reset. Higher end scan tools have this capability.

Hadn't seen more than a few post on PCV reroute for the L5P so I thought I'd share mine. Earlier gen hose required 5/8" hose it seems while the L5P uses 7/8" id. I chose not to use the stock short section as the hose I used is very good quality and retains its form.
L5P Oil Pressure issue. 2019 3500HD 125k miles. I tow a lot with a lot of weight. Last trip low oil pressure warning came up. Pressure running about 28 psi. Pulled over and checked levels, all fine. Good thing I was close to home and pressure stayed 28 or more the whole way. It gets 30mpg on the highway at 65mph so I guess if it regens for 7% of the time then it will probably drop to 27 to 28 mpg.
