Started with Dropoff after leaving Boomerang. Dispatch and company app were helpful. Work was not worth driving 20 miles to a bakery and deliver one cake for $9. Too many "dead" miles--zero pay between deliveries. After all the math I made about 75 cents per mile. Found a better paying courier job delivering sandwiches. I am considering doing go share but before I pay for the expensive background check, I’m trying to figure out if these deliveries are primarily heavy boxes and furniture and the jobs are mostly moving gigs or if there are smaller ones as well, similar to Roadie which I already do in addition to Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and Go Puff. Even if i used COD, there would be no way for me to know the item was damaged until i paid for it upon delivery. The courier will not allow u to open ur own damn package without receiving full payment for it.
