When the power came back on the message appeared. Everything seemed normal for a minute but then we realized it was stuck in 5th gear.

This shifter has been the source of discussion a couple of times among the members. Nobody seems to understand why they went to that shifter and most really don't like it at all. One member even traded his 2015 Ram for a 2013 with a column shifter after he had trouble with the knob shifter. I don't recall what kind of issue he had with the knob.
