Yorktown Town Supervisor Tom Diana has died. A town spokesman says Diana had an apparent heart attack at his residence this morning and was pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian-Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor. His death comes four days after he was sworn in to his first full term.Since being appointed supervisor in January when Matt Slater departed for the state Assembly, Diana, a retired police officer, has more than proven he is capable of leading Yorktown and has earned the chance to serve a full two-year term.
