Since I'm happy with the fit in my hand, I was just wondering if there was any reason why I should consider a 30, 4th gen over the 30SF. As far as the extras go, the backstraps will only make the grip bigger, I'll save enough money to buy a third magazine, and I don't need a mag loader. Thanks!

The 30S and 19 are Glock's finest offerings - imho. It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s). The XDS was the smallest and most comfortable carry but I couldn't hit anything and the backstrap dug into the web of my hand. I have most all the Glock .45's. When I was choosing which would be first in the 30 series (my first two .45's were G21SF and G21g4), the 30S's frame is same as 30SF and 30g4. The slide is slimmer on the 30S. But, the frame thickness is what grabbed my attention at first. Slimmer slide but same thickness in the frame.

To me the 30 is the best. I have not shot a 36 yet but really want to. If it is as good as the 30 I will add one to my carry routine! I have a Motorcycle vest that needs something a little thinner than the 21 or 30 and not as long as the 17. 6 .45ACP rounds would do nicely in there.
