The model number under the forcing cone is AUN3343, but I'm not quite sure about the A, it might be an N. The serial number is not very clear either. It starts with a 3, then 9 or 0, then a 0, after this comes what seems to be an 8 and finally a 5 or a 6. Thank you very much. Also I would like to know if the price I paid for the gun was correct.

It is a Dan Wesson DW Pointman Major-C 1911 circa 2000-2001 PRE- CZ. If you collect 1911s it certainly is one you will not find everyday. From what I understand the Majors are made on DW frames.
