I think a lot of the buzz about the 0411 came from early adopters like painless requiring that customers use a 0411 with their harnesses, even though there were several other interchangeable numbers. Oct 27, 2020 · 12200411 PCM swap for 1996 to 2000 GMT400 trucks. Since we have a new 96 up Vortec subsection, I thought I would make a new post. The 12200411 PCM can be installed into the 96 to 2000 GMT400 trucks simply by repining the PCM connector terminals. The wiring is slightly different between the 96, 97, and 98 to 2000 trucks. If you are still going the 0411 swap route, you should be able to use any of the Holden Commodore 00-02 LS1b tunes for this. Once you have the OS on there, you can open the corvette file and copy and paste the spark/fuel values etc back over and make any changes needed manually. Might be a bit time consuming but I think that would do the job.A couple folks on here have done the 0411 swap. Perhaps they would give you a 98 ecu? Personally if I had one I’d give it to ya for shipping cost. The 0411 swap is worthwhile. It’s rather complicated though. An odd thing to try. I'd like to add to this worksheet you have (for example, Pin 58 in the Red Connector 2 is for the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Signal for only the Corvettes).When the 0411 first came back from Black Bear, there was only 22 deg at wot. Cruise timing was way low too, mid 20's rather than mid 30's. I sent it back with the data logs and asked for more timing. They did add cruise timing, but wot is still 22.0. For the record there is no trace of knock.

Everything works so far, throttle response is way better, driving is smoother, and 0-60 times is much faster. GM offered both the GMT400 and the GMT 800 body trucks in 99. My friend has a 99 K1500 with a 305 in it that came factory with a 9.5 SF rear and a 5spd. When we 0411 swapped his truck, I used the base 305 van tune and segment swapped in a manual trans, 4×4 S10 trans segment.
