15 round mags for the P365 do fit in the Macro grip. You just have to replace the extended baseplate with a flat one from a 10 or 12 round mag. I don't have the TacOps, but I have an XL. I shoot the X-Macro better than the XL. Maybe an X-Macro Tacops would even the field. I will say that the X-Macro "Comp" does shoot a bit flatter for me and with just maybe a bit less perceived recoil. It certainly does seem that the X-Macro Tacops represents a great value with the extra mags.

I believe the intent at the time was to make a sub-compact concealed carry gun with a larger capacity, a great trigger, and one that would actually fit in the hands of a greater percentage of consumers.
