Be sure to use the Reshade version which supports Addons (so the unsigned version). When you start your game, the Addons tab in the Reshade gui should show the ReshadeEffectShaderToggler information and controls. To create a toggle for a set of shaders, open the reshade gui and go to the addon's tab -> Reshade Effect Shader Toggler area. Launch the game through the launcher as normal. If ReShade was successfully installed, a grey bar showing ReShade information should display at the top of the FFXIV game window. It should load in all the previously downloaded effects. The installer will prompt you to select the game you want to install Reshade for. Choose FFXIV from the list of supported games and proceed with the installation. The regular build of ReShade will not work with FFXIV. Do not tick the options to install the shader packs from vanilla ReShade during the install process. Only make sure to install the ReShade default shaders. If that link is still dead when you read this, use this file. It's the exact same file as the one you would download from ReShade. [1]
