getting those 3 to at least rank 3 would be what i'd consider a successful playthrough of this event. So two things: Arcane Energize is the one you want. You do not need to get it all the way to Rank 5, Rank 4 is not that much worse and takes half the time. Rank 3 takes half of the time; rank 4 takes 71% of the time.

The problem I had with it was that it's not great for damaging the actual Orphix - or at least there are many better weapons for doing that. So you'd need other ways of dealing that damage. So if you are doing Orphix in a squad - then one of you should absolutely be carrying the Fluctus (Imperator Vandal is a decent choice for the other players).

I don't have a necramech and I don't really want to grind for one.
