My suggested tools are: Hand drill. You can use a drill press and dremel work station but I chose to do hand drill instead and then clean holes. ( drops of mineral oil before drilling each hole) Razor blade to score tabs or fret cutters. Dremel for quick channel work and there's an attachment for tighter areas.

I also recommend leaving a little bit of material to "melt" (hot shave :)) with the hot knife/soldering iron - WAY better than leaving cut marks or gouges in the polymer. Even small cuts leftover can be weak spots in the finished product. Using a soldering iron or hot knife (screwdriver, Xacto blade, etc.) will reduce or remove these potential ...
