IIRC the only trucks that come with the 8.8 rear is the 3.5L N/A trucks. The 5.0L and all others come with the 9.75. That was true up until the '15 model year, Tim. For '15+ the only trucks that always have the 9.75" axle are those with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine. Max Tow might put the 9.75" under a 5.0L truck, but the majority of them have the 8.8".
