Just accidentally broke my oath. Killed a couple of Duergar slavers in order to free their slaves, apparently this didn't sit right with Wyll's oath of the ancient (i respecced him into paladin warlock multiclass) so i struggle to figure out how this broke the oath for me. i just had to spend a thousand bucks to reclaim said oath.

I´ve broken my oath and reclaimed my oath more than once. It's a bug that happens in Act 3 apparently, a friend of mine had that as well. Once you enter Act 3 for some reason Oathbreaker is gone permanently. So once we got in Act 3 he was stuck with that class combination for the rest of the game. #4.

Oaths are kinda buggy right now. Killing some goblins seems to always break your oath while others don't, regardless of who attacked who. Toggle on Non-Lethal damage. You technically chose to kill them even if they attacked you first. Mercy, Forgiveness, turn the other cheek, be the better sentient being, yada yada.I play Oath of Vengeance (which is Chaotic Good) and trust me I have unscrewed the Duergars heads from their bodies without breaking my oath. Actually I think there is even an [Oath of Vengeance] specific dialogue to tell them you came to kill them all. TL;DR: Don't play Lawful Good or Neutral Good paladins if you want to do Chaotic actions.
