2006 chevy trailblazer ac vents not working.
May 21, 2007 · Same thing happened here. Everything was working fine until I replaced the battery. After that the air only blew from the defrost and floor vents. I disconnected the battery (no help), tried the hvac reset (no help), I finally had to replace the mode actuator. Seems like this is a cronic problem for GM, like everything else.
Sounds like a problem with the front blower motor. there is a blower motor resistor for the front blower motor that controls the speed of the blower and tends to go bad or fry out the blower motor. thats the most likely scenerio since you stated the control head was lighting up and responded to button changes.
